Todd Delmay is a small business owner and dedicated advocate for his community.

With 25 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, Todd understands what it takes to build a strong economy, create jobs, and support small businesses. He has helped entrepreneurs grow and thrive through his work with organizations like the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (ex-officio Board Member) and as as Broward County’s Area Director for Business Network International (BNI). Now, he is running for State House to fight for lower costs, housing affordability, and real solutions to the everyday challenges Floridians face.

Todd learned early on that hard work and opportunity go hand in hand. His father was a telecommunications worker and union member, while his mother took on part-time work to help support the family. Those values of fairness, opportunity, and fighting for working families shaped his belief that government should work for people—not just the powerful. He worked his way through college before earning an MBA, later building his own small business in Florida. Todd knows from experience that Florida’s economy thrives when we invest in workers and local businesses—not just corporate profits.

Floridians are struggling with rising costs, and Todd will take on the real issues that matter. He will work to lower property insurance rates, stop price gouging, and protect the environment to prevent climate change from causing catastrophic economic consequences for Florida families. He will invest in public education, ensure teachers receive the pay they deserve, and expand access to vocational and technical training so every student can succeed. He will fight to expand Medicaid to lower healthcare costs and empower Florida to negotiate lower prescription drug prices. Todd will also fight for a Florida that is safe and inclusive for everyone, standing up to antisemitism, hate groups, and political extremism to ensure that all communities are protected.

Florida voters have made their voices loud and clear: they overwhelmingly support reproductive freedom, but Republicans continue working to strip away those rights. While some politicians try to have it both ways, Todd is the only candidate in this race who will never compromise on protecting abortion access. He will oppose attacks on reproductive rights, fight to restore abortion protections in Florida, and ensure that politicians have no place in personal medical decisions.

As the Executive Director of SAVE, Florida’s longest-running LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, Todd has worked to protect fundamental freedoms, fight discrimination, research social determinants of health, and advocate for policies that improve the lives of all Floridians. In 2014, Todd and his husband, Jeff, joined the lawsuit that won marriage equality in Florida, ultimately becoming the first same-sex couple to marry in the state. They now live in Hollywood with their son, Blake.
